The BYD Denza Z9 GT Wagon: A Powerful Upgrade
The BYD Denza brand has unveiled the official images of its updated Z9 GT station wagon, a vehicle that promises to be a game-changer in the automotive world. With a focus on performance and innovation, the Z9 GT is set to offer an unparalleled driving experience.
A Powerful Powertrain
One of the most significant upgrades is the powertrain system. The BEV AWD variant boasts a combined system power output of up to 850 kW (1,140 hp) with three electric motors, a substantial increase of 188 hp compared to the previous model. This powerful setup ensures that the Z9 GT can accelerate and perform with unmatched vigor.
Design Enhancements
While the overall design remains consistent with the current model, there are some notable changes. The lidar has been strategically relocated to the center of the front windshield on the roof, adding a touch of modern elegance. The exterior now features a vibrant Fjord Green paint, and a new blue indicator light has been added to signal the activation of the advanced driver assistance system, enhancing both functionality and style.
Dimensions and Performance
The body dimensions of the Z9 GT remain unchanged, measuring 5195/1990/1490 mm (l/w/h) with a wheelbase of 3125 mm. Under the hood, the PHEV variant is equipped with a 2.0T engine and three electric motors, paired with a 63.82 kWh battery pack, nearly double the capacity of the previous model. This setup provides a CLTC pure electric range of 400 km, ensuring that drivers can travel long distances without compromise.
The BEV variant offers both RWD and AWD options. The RWD version features an electric motor with a maximum power of 370 kW (496 hp), a top speed of 240 km/h, and a curb weight of 2,700 kg. The AWD variant takes it a step further with a 230 kW front electric motor and two 310 kW rear motors, resulting in a total power output of 850 kW (1,140 hp) and a top speed of 270 km/h. This AWD setup surpasses the previous version's combined power output of 710 kW (952 hp), showcasing BYD's commitment to pushing the boundaries of electric vehicle performance.
