The director of The Witcher 3 and Cyberpunk 2077, Konrad Tomaszkiewicz, has shared his thoughts on the role of AI in game development. In an interview with Eurogamer, Tomaszkiewicz discussed his new studio, Rebel Wolves, and their approach to using AI technology.

Tomaszkiewicz's perspective is rooted in his extensive experience at CD Projekt, where he worked on all three Witcher titles and rose to the position of VP of game development. His departure from the studio in 2021 led to the founding of Rebel Wolves, which secured investment from NetEase later that year. This move showcases his belief in the potential of AI as a collaborative tool, rather than a replacement for human talent.
